cartwheeling like a kid

at the sight of the Saviour.

Let each one of us bow out

with a baby in atrophied arms;

let our long mooning around the pews

bump into the splendid news

that God remembers promises

and eventually sends rewards.

It´s just that we got to know

when to let the Spirit

shake us out of bed

and hustle us to church.
